The ice and cold had made travelling very slow and methodical. Good thing Holly had thought to pack herself extra protein bars and put double thick socks on. It was getting dark and she hadn't passed another car in miles.
The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.
Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It's appreciated.
She couldn't really remember how long she had been walking, and as to how far, she couldn't fathom a guess. She just knew she was getting tired and would have to stop soon. Yet, she couldn't exactly stop in the snow to rest, so she had to find shelter. Any shelter.
