Interview with Emilie Richards with giveaway

Hi Ms. Richards and thanks for this opportunity!

Can you tell us what inspired you to write Fortunate Harbor?

Emilie - After I finished Happiness Key, I found myself thinking about the women I'd written about. Happiness Key covered only a few months in their lives, months in which they'd made tremendous changes. I knew there was more story to tell, and was delighted when my editor thought so, too.

What book is currently on your nightstand?

Emilie - I just finished Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay

What would you say is your interesting writing quirk?

Emilie - I have to have a title before I can proceed. It solidifies the story for me and makes it real.

What do you like to do when you’re not writing?

Emilie - Quilt, garden, knit, cook and either read or listen to audio books

Are you currently working on another novel?

Emilie - I'm hard at work on Sunset Bridge, the third and final book of the Happiness Key trilogy.

Thanks so much Emilie for telling us a bit about yourself and your new book, Fortunate Harbor, due out June 29th.

  6. Question for Emilie:

After you finish Sunset Bridge do you have plans for a new series? And, if so where will the location or setting be this time?

  11. Thanks for asking, ChristyJan. I do have a new idea, as yet still thinking it through. Where would you like to see a series set? What's not been done to death that intrigues you?

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It's appreciated.
