Bandwidth by Angus Morrison Review & Giveaway

I really enjoy reading thrillers, but toss in greed, big business and shady politics and I'm there.  Bandwidth opens with a death in the bathub - was it murder or suicide? It wasn't cut and dried, so of course, I had to turn the page -- I had to know!

Meet Hayden Campbell, a man who writes pretty speeches.  Compelling, yes.  Hayden used to work for the CIA but has found his niche in his life writing speeches, speeches that could make or break a career.  He finds himself working for the sixth richest man in the world, Aaron Cannondale.

Aaron believes that bandwidth should be unlimited for anyone.  In this day and age, those that control the radiowaves, has much power.  Hayden collects news articles and is intrigued to find that someone could get a device from the internet to jam a satellite signal thousands of miles away, satellites that beam radio signals to the military, ships and more.

Peter Van Weert  wanted money, power, respect.  Peter though, likes water, and stumbles into how to data through the water.  Aaron decides he wants to buy Peter's idea, his new company.   But all the pretty speeches in the world won't keep the greedy from wanting their own piece of the pie - or the whole thing.  Someone is going to get hurt, if not killed.

Terrorists, big money politics, and adventure all come together in a page-turning composite of cleverness, indulgence, and conflict.  Morrison's characters are compelling and the plot authentic.  Angus Morrison has a keen eye for detail and that detail lends credibility to the story - one you could just imagine happening in today's world.   If your looking for a can't-put-down thriller from a new voice in today's fiction, pick up Bandwidth today!
