PEACE BE WITH YOU by David Carlson
9/11 is tragic and it still makes us catch our breath today. Peace Be With You is the way that monastic culture (monks, nuns, recreants) reacted to this terroristic attack and other attacks as well. It is filled with over thirty interviews with nuns, abbots, monks and others for their take on spiritualism against terrorism.
Easy to read, inspirational and insightful, Peace Be With You is about finding genuine peace. The interviews were a testament to how powerful religion is around the world, no matter what faith you follows. I found the words, "We're more at war than peace" resounding and truthful. A first-look at how the monastic culture views the terrorists and how we can find peace within, and the wisdom they deliver is profound. A very captivating and inspiring read!

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.
Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It's appreciated.
