See Mix Drink by Brian D. Murphy

A Refreshling Simple Guide to Crafting the World's Most Popular Cocktails

I used to be a bartender and I wish I had had this book way back then. I learned the hard way how to make drinks, trial and error. But See Mix Drink takes the error out of it! There are many recipes in the book to make even a non-drinker into an excellent crafter of cocktails. Not only are there snapshots of a cocktail in brilliant color, a picture showing the volume of each ingredient in the glass, but there is a cocktail pronunciation key so you always say the drink correctly.

Visual instructions, proportions and calories, time required, ingredients, but also a description of where the drink originated and a best occasion icon to denote when the best time is for the cocktail, Morning, Before Dinner, After Dinner or anytime.

The guide is broken up into sections for easy use. Using this book, any host is sure to be the hit of the party. Well written, easy to understand and clear step-by-step instructions will give impressive results. No kitchen or bar should be without this book!

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It's appreciated.
