Fairy Tale Giveaway Hop

Welcome to the Fairy Tale Giveaway Hop hosted by vvb32 reads and I Am A Reader, Not A Writer.  This hop runs from April 26-May 2st and all blogs on the hop will have a book-related fairy tale book giveaway.

Most of us grew up with fairy tales read to us before bed or watching beloved Disney movies.  I have read fairy tales to my children and watched movies I loved as a kid, sharing them with my own kids.  I have to say though, that my favorite fairytale would probably have to be Cinderella.  From the movie, my favorite part was the mice.  Bibbitty bobbity boo I'll always remember.  But there's just something to be said about a young girl finding love and happiness after struggling so much with loss and losing your self-worth.  Most fairy tales have meaning, you just have to know where to look.

On to the giveaway! One lucky reader will win a copy of Cinder by Marissa Meyer

USA Only.  Winner has 48 hours to respond to email or a new winner will be selected.  Prize shipped direct from Minding Spot.

  1. Awesome giveaway! I'm a bit ashamed to admit, because I'm a huge fan of fairy tales, but I didn't think Cinder was something I'd be interested in when it first came in. Several trusted friend's opinion, and one semi-intervention, I've been forced to realize I misjudged this book. Now I need to read it!

My favorite fairytale is Beauty and the Beast, a tale not only of romance but of friendship and redemption :)

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It's appreciated.
