Immediately upon hearing the music, I knew Current was not a typical pop christian cd. The mixes of pop,rock,classical and unique instrumentation make for an surprisingly beautiful and alluring sound. Although the music is refreshing and attention grabbing it does not take away from Sarah's stunning vocals of pure perfection. Sarah flawlessly blends the powerful and uplifting tone with the meaningful and heartwarming lyrics. It is so hard to even describe this album as it is so unlike anything I have ever heard before. Current is definitely unique and moving. The perfect album for anyone who wants a unique christian album to help you feel renewed and awakened. Over all I really enjoyed this album. Sarah certainly has her own sound which is thoughtfully and passionately captured, developed and displayed throughout the album.
