The Impossible Engineers (The Doorknob Society Saga Book 2) by MJ Fletcher

From Amazon - Chloe Masters’s world changes in a heartbeat and all she did was touch a doorknob. James Nightshade has been on Chloe’s mind since the day she met him. Arrogant and frustrating, she thought she had put him behind her when she chose Michael Slade. When the secret she is seeking leads to questions about the death of Nightshade’s former girlfriend, she has no chose but to bring him into the investigation. A move she will come to regret. Danger awaits them around every corner as they search for answers. In the end a choice will need to be made, but is Chloe strong enough to make it?

Surprisingly, this book was even better than the first one.  I honestly did not expect to like this book as much I did. It was incredible. MJ Fletcher is becoming one of my favorite writers. I’m pretty sure I would read anything he writes.

Edgar continues to be my favorite character.  I would give anything to be friends with him. He is just unbelievably amazing. I liked Jess a lot more than I did in the first book. She really grew on me.

The premise is still one of my favorite things about this book. It’s what sets this book apart from all the others. The uniqueness of this book is one of the biggest things that make it so special. I was surprised quite a few times throughout the book. The author kept me guessing at every turn. I can’t wait for the next one in the series.

*I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.  Abbey

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It's appreciated.
