Courageous Teens by Michael Catt with Amy Parker

Courageous Teens is a student-focused presentation of Courageous Living by Michael Catt, senior pastor of Sherwood Baptist Church and executive producer of the hit film Courageous.

From the creators of Fireproof and Courageous: The Movie comes a great companion or standalone book to share with your teen, read yourself or share at Sunday School.

To be courageous, you must learn to trust God.  This is something that I have learned over the years and something that I inspire in my kids.  Do they trust my knowledge? Not all the time, but eventually they come back to acknowledging my wisdom.  Not in all things, but most things that I learned the hard way.

You have to put your faith in Him, you have to let Him lead the way and have the courage to follow Him.  It's a big leap of faith but sometimes, that's all you have besides hope.  Courageous Teens not only talks about that, but it also shows the similarities with different people in the Bible, with what they went through compared to how it can affect your life today.   I found this to be a very uplifting book that really spoke to me and hope that many teens find the courage to be strong and put their trust in God.

Very easy to read with questions at the end of each chapter and section recaps that would be really good to use in a classroom style or youth group setting.

Do not be afraid or discouraged.  Be strong and courageous.  Joshua 10:25

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It's appreciated.
