Green Lantern Costume Review

Recently, I was given the opportunity to review a costume from Costume Discounters, and you know I couldn't pass that up!  I thought I'd be an awesome mom and picked out a cool Green Lantern costume for my 13 year old.  He was as excited as I was.  Sometimes things just don't play out how you plan, but I'm still awesome!

Shipping was prompt and only took a few days.  It was nicely packaged so all the neighbors didn't think we were little freaks that liked to dance around in our superhero costumes.  Once we opened it, we found that it came with a full body costume (complete with rippling fake abs!), a mask, and a cool Green Lantern ring.  The ring has the open end so that it fits any finger size.  It's made of durable plastic that we will have fun playing with for years.  The mask is also well made.  It's thick, comfortable plastic and well-secured thick elastic band fit snugly, yet comfortably around your head and eyes.  The eye holes are just barely big enough to see through correctly, so if you wear this, make sure you take a few minutes to adjust before taking off in the soccer mom van to take the youngsters out trick or treating.  The costume is sewn well and a thick, yet breathable, material.  You could comfortably wear it for hours with no ill effects.  The back is velcro closured, but set in the right spots that you don't have to worry about any under clothing showing through.

Honestly, the costume is made of good materials and put together to last for years, even with a little rough play.  Discounted prices with good variety products and the customer service was excellent.   Definitely give them a try when you're looking for your Halloween costume this year!

*I received a costume in exchange for an honest review.  Shawn

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It's appreciated.
