Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce Review & Giveaway

I'm always looking for new recipes to try.  Admittedly, I don't actually have the time to try most of them.  When I was given the chance to check out Country Bob's sauce, I jumped at it.  A new sauce can make an entire meal taste like a new one, with minimal effort.  I wasn't really sure what to expect, but I ran to my local butcher and grabbed the biggest steak I could find and proceeded to play.

When opening the bottle of original sauce, it was impossible to not start out by having a little taste.  It tastes like a cross between A-1 steak sauce and barbecue sauce.  It smells like a cross between the two items as well.  Normally they're both too strong on their own for my taste, but blended together, I loved it!  So, I gave it another taste.  Yep!  Just as good the second time!

The real test came with the making of the meat.  I dumped the entire bottle into my huge skillet and plopped in the steak.  I cooked it slowly over medium heat until the steak was brown.  Then I opened up my broiler and gently tossed the steak from the top of the stove to the bottom of it.  Don't worry; I cleaned up the mess of Country Bob droplets all over the kitchen floor while my steak was sizzling in the broiler.  As soon as I could smell charred beef, I opened the broiler to flip the meat over.  Soon my steak was broiled to perfection!  I pulled it out and put it on my favorite plate. It looked so pretty I had to take a picture!  Then came the real test....tasting!  Honestly, it still tasted great on the meat, but more of a sweet taste came out than I'd originally had before cooking the sauce.  So, I tested it on a few of my guy friends.  They greedily devoured their portion and asked for more.  No complaints at all from them!  They loved it!

If you're a steak sauce or barbecue sauce kind of person, you really have to give this stuff a shot.  I have a teenage boy who adores meat and I can't wait to see what he thinks of this!  Also, as soon as grilling season hits again, I plan to experiment with several different products.  In the meantime...I've got a broiler to attempt to clean.

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It's appreciated.
