Mario Olives - Holiday Gift Guide

We have alot of company over the holidays - Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Eve.  I'm always trying to find some new snacks that I know they will love, yet it's not the same thing holiday after holiday and year after year.  Thankfully, Mario Olives has thought of that!

They've come out with these new flavored snack olives and I am in love!

They come in single snack packages - which is really cool all on their own. That's because I've been tossing a package into my lunch box and having a great afternoon snack.  My family also finds them to be a great snack, and it's way better than chips or candy.  However, I think they will be a great addition to our holiday parties and meals.  I'm going to be adding these to my relish trays and I'm planning on slicing some up to put in some pasta salads.

They come in three flavors! .Each snack pack is only 100 calories!

Pitted Manzanilla Olives mildly seasoned with Garlic and Thyme
Pitted Manzanilla Olives midly seasoned with Chili and Thyme
Pitted Kalamata Olives mildly seasoned with Thyme

They're the same great olives you've been munching forever, with just a tiny hint of another flavor. I can't choose my favorite because I love all three.   One pouch holds ten olives, which is supposedly 2 servings, but I don't know anyone that can eat that as 2 servings.  I gobbled the whole pouch and felt satisfied.    Yum!

The best part of these is that they're transportable.  You can toss them in a diaper bag, back pack or purse without having to worry about any mess.  Perfect pick-me-up snack for ball games, field trips, or work.  They ask that you please refrigerate after opening, but who's going to refrigerate an empty bag??

  1. Ok, I think I'm the crazy one, but I can't stand olives!! lol.

But, on the other hand, my husband LOVES these olives. He usually only gets them on special occasions like...in his Stocking for Christmas.

  2. I'm with Amber - I can't stand olives, but my husband loves them. He could practically live on olives. I'll have to keep these in mind. They'd make a perfect stocking stuffer!

  3. That's so funny, because I was going to say the same thing. I hate olives, but my husband loves them.

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It's appreciated.
