The High Calling is a weekly newsletter that you receive in your email. There's usually an audio message from Howard Butt, community articles, a video and several articles from the High Calling staff.
I was really impressed with some of the articles - they not only talk about God, but things that happen in their everyday life. It could be something that happened at home, out with friends and family or something at work that they were either struggling with and looked to a higher power to help them. Or, they were praising His name for the bounty they received, be it a continuance of faith, hope or hearing their prayers.
Some of the articles motivate you to get involved - help your community. Get involved and make a difference! Some of the articles can be a great tool for you and some of the key points are right from the bible.
Also, when the newsletter is sent out each week, The High Calling posts an inspiring poster-style image on their Facebook page - it not only helps promote the newsletter, but it's available for others to share and share in the community.
I found The High Calling to be innovative, inspiring and I felt I could really relate on some many levels with the different articles and messages. If you would like to sign up for this free newsletter, just go to http://www.thehighcalling.org! It's that simple!

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.
