I grew up reading my grandpa's Reader's Digest books. He always got them in the mail and they were usually hardbound and had one to three stories in them.  I loved them and when I had the chance to review Treasure of Joy and Inspiration, I knew I couldn't miss it.

Reader's Digest has been in my life on and all over the years and to get a gander at Their Most Moving Stories Ever - I knew it was going to be something special.  I wasn't wrong! There are stories that span from my grandfather's time to present.  What's great about the stories in Reader's Digest is that they are family friendly - I never have to worry about awkward situations and language. I love this book and it has it's very own place on my keeper bookshelf.

There are quite a bit of stories that are contributed by celebrities, but each story has it's own message and message.  Some are heartwarming, inspiring, witty and moving.  A book to be savored and shared - it deserves to be read by anyone and everyone!

  1. I too grew up reading my Mom's Reader's Digest. I always loved their stories. Thanks for the opportunity. Happy Holidays. :)

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It's appreciated.
