Further Confessions of a Slightly Neurotic Hitwoman by J.B. Lynn

Take three wacky aunts,
two talking animals,
one nervous bride,
and an upcoming hit,
and you've got the follow-up
to JB Lynn's wickedly funny
Confessions of a Slightly Neurotic Hitwoman

Knocking off a drug kingpin was the last thing on Maggie Lee's to-do list, but when a tragic accident leaves her beloved niece orphaned and in the hospital, Maggie will go to desperate lengths to land the money needed for her care.

But the drug kingpin is the least of her worries. Maggie's aunts are driving her crazy, her best friend's turned into a bridezilla…and a knock on the head has given Maggie Dr. Dolittle abilities—she can talk to animals. Unfortunately, they talk back.

It's just another day in the life of this neurotic hitwoman…

If you love Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum’s series then you will definitely enjoy JB Lynn’s Further Confessions of a Slightly Neurotic Hitwoman. Maggie Lee’s character has the same canny ability to attract problems and crazy characters just like Stephanie. Maggie obviously did not get into her profession by choice, hence the “Neurotic” part of the book’s title.

Armed with just her wits and surrounded by her nutty friends and family, Maggie reluctantly takes on a contract for a hit. Oh, and I forgot the pièce de résistance; Maggie can talk to her dog and lizard! This book is the perfect summer read when all you want to do is laugh and escape reality for a couple of hours.

*I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.  Roberta

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It's appreciated.
