Which Exit Angel by Chris Redding

She's an angel who hasn't earned her wings. He's a preacher questioning his faith. How are these two supposed to stop the impending apocalypse?

In Which Exit Angel, Angels have made themselves known to the mortal race.  When they take on a corporal form they can be harmed.  Angela Sky is an angel who still hasn't gotten her wings.  She really isn't in a hurry for them but Gabriel thinks her newest mission just might be the one to get them.

Someone is murdering angels and Angela is a detective.  She and her boyfriend are on the outs, so the time away from Heaven isn't exactly unwanted.  At the homicide scene, she questions reverend Sandy Beach.  Something about Sandy tugs at something in Angela and she wishes she could taste human emotions.

Then another angel is killed and Angela feels that she is onto something much bigger than she had planned on.  She isn't sure about the wings but she is beginning to really like Sandy.  But, they'll both have to be at the top of their game if either of them wants to see each other again.

Great world building concepts, unique characters and a suspense driven plot are key elements in this entertaining, yet riveting read.  I wasn't sure who the bad guy was or how the relationship thing would work out with Angela being an almost angel. A rewarding read!

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It's appreciated.
