The Power of Prayer can be salvation, a balm to one's soul. It can heal many or it can heal just one. The Power of an Ordinary Prayer by Michael W. Smith opens with a beautiful blessing that is carried throughout the rest of this small, yet uplifting book. There are areas that one can jot down notes, but each chapter talks a bit about a part of Smith's lovely blessing until the whole blessing has been discussed. It's uplifting, spiritual and beautiful. Great to own for yourself but also to gift or share with others.

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.
