Authors:

Weston Kincade:

Creative writing has always been a passion for Weston Kincade.  He's helped invest in future writers for years while teaching writing.  In his spare time he writes poetry and short stories in addition to his novels.  He also edits and operates WAKE Editing (http://www.wakeediting.com)  when not spending time with his wife and Maine Coon cat, Hermes, who talks so much he must be a speaker for the Gods.  Weston is currently working on a variety of paranormal and fantasy novels.  As the wordsmithing process continues, he loves stretching the boundaries of human understanding.

Duncan McGeary:

Duncan is the owner of the bookstore Pegasus Books of Bend, located in downtown Bend, Oregon.  He is the author of the fantasy  novels Star Axe, Snowcastles, and Icetowers, and the author of several horror novels, including Led to the Slaughter and Vampire Evolution Trilogy.  His wife Linda is also a writer; together they attend a writer's group in Oregon. Duncan has two children:  Todd, an artist, and Toby, a chef.

Justin Robinson:

Much like film noir, Justin was born and raised in Los Angeles.  He splits his time between editing comic books, writing prose, and wondering what that disgusting smell is. Degrees in Anthropology and History prepared him for unemployment, but an obsession with horror fiction and a laundry list of phobias provided a more attractive option

John F.D. Taff:

John is a horror/dark speculative fiction author with more than 25 years experience.  He's a published author with more than 70 short stories and seven novels in print.  His writing has a distinct, pulpy Twilight Zone vibe to it.  He also writes fantasy, suspense and some science fiction.

He has appeared in magazines such as Cemetery Dance, Eldritch Tales, Morpheus Tales, Deathrealm, Schrodinger's Mouse, Night Chills, Big Pulp and One Buck Horror, as well as anthologies such as Hot Blood:  Seeds of Fear, Hot Blood:  Fear the Fever, Shock Rock II, Best New Vampire Tales, Best New Werewolf Tales, Evil Jester Digest #1, and Horror for Good.  Over the years, six of his short stories have been awarded honorable mentions in Datlow & Windling's Year's Best Fantasy & Horror.

Taff's first collection, Little Deaths, features 19 short stories collected from 25 years of writing.  Some of the tales are reprinted from other sources; some are new to the collection.  Little Deaths has been extremely well reviewed and has made it to the Horror Writer Association's 2012 Bram Stoker Recommended Reading List.

His historic ghost story, The Bell Witch, and a thriller, Kill/Off, are out now.  A collection of novellas, The End in All Beginnings, will be out this summer from Grey Matter Press. Two other novels, The Exterminator and The Orpheus Box, will be out later this year from Books of the Dead Press.

He has three fantastic kids, three pugs and exactly one girlfriend, Debbie.  He lives in a house on a river that likes to flood sometimes.

Steve Kuhn:

Steve is a former professional musician turned writer.  Raised in Baltimore, Maryland and with a deep seeded passion for horror, he brings a refreshingly raw and witty style to his work.  He has been featured in countless online publications as a critical reviewer and has spent the last three years crafting the epic zombie series, Dext of the Dead.

Marie McKean:

Marie was born in rural Utah, far from city life. Surrounded by the Abajo Blue Mountains, she gained a passion for the serenity of nature.  When a young adult, her sheltered and quiet-mountain life came to an abrupt end when she married and moved to the "Big Apple." New York City opened her eyes to a whole new world.  She later moved to San Francisco in pursuit of her advancing career and the completion of her degree in British and American Literature.  Now, she creates characters that confront all the horror and happiness of real life by resurrecting forgotten historical folklore to tell the stories of her imagination.

Marshall J. Stephens:

Marshall started his first novel in 8th grade and has written stories in a variety of genres all of his life.  He was born in South Carolina and now lives in Virginia with his wife and two cats.  He's available for children's parties and will not be undersold.  You can find more information and upcoming publications from him at http://www.marshallmakesmedia.com

Scott Nicholson:

Author Scott Nicholson has written 20 thrillers, 60 short stories, four comics series, and six screenplays.  He lives in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina, where he tends an organic garden, successfully eludes stalkers, and indulges in the vain whimsy of believing his thoughts are important.  He's online at www.authorscottnicholson.com and Facebook.

L.F. Falconer:

Leanna is an American writer from the heart of the West.  To date, she has three published novels.  These include the Hope series and a collection of thriller short stories.  She's also continuing her work on an epic three-volume fantasy.  She is also a member of the High Sierra Writers group in Reno.  Look for her on Facebook and Twitter.

John Everson:

John Everson is a staunch advocate of the culinary joys of the jalapeno and New Mexican chiles, as well as an unabashed fan of eccentric 1970's vintage European horror cinema.  He is also the author of eight novels, including the creepy SF/horror of Violet Eyes, the erotic horror tour de force of the 2012 Bram Stoker Award nominee NightWhere, and the occult/urban legend mystery of The Pumpkin Man.  Other novels include his Bram Stoker Award-winning first novel Covenant, as well as Sacrifice, The 13th and Siren.  In 2014, Samhain Publishing will release his latest novel, The Family Tree.  His tales have been translated into Polish, French, Italian, Turkish and German and optioned for potential film development. His short stories have been gathered in a handful of collections including Cage of Bones & Other Deadly Obsessions and Needles & Sins.  A 10th anniversary edition of his Vigilantes of Love was reissued in 2013.  For more information on his fiction, art and music, or to sign up for his e-newsletter, visit www.johneverson.com

Tonia Brown:

Tonia Brown is a southern author with a penchant for Victorian dead things.  She is the author of Badass Zombie Road Trip, Lucky Stiff, Railroad, and many others.  She lives in the backwoods of North Carolina with her genius husband and an ever fluctuating number of cats.  She likes fudgesicles and coffee; though not always together.  When not writing she raises unicorns and fights crime with her husband under the code names Dr. Weird and his sexy sidekick Butternut.

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It's appreciated.
