Kiss & Hell by Dakota Cassidy

A girl has to pay the rent and buy the kibble. Eight hundred dollars per each seance is pretty good money for a medium. But when a handsome demon starts interrupting with babble, Delaney sees her rent money fly right out the window.

Delaney Markham is a medium. She sees and hears dead people and tries to send them to the light. Seeing ghosts though can really play havoc with your love life. The last boyfriend she had saw her talking to a shower curtain, a dead sailor, and he thought she was crazy and ended their relationship. Since then, she hasn't had a boyfriend since. She has her babies, her six dogs, that she cares for and that keep her company. They keep her busy as they all have their quirks. One has a Bedazzled diaper, one has diabetes, and the others all have their own ailments. Delaney loves them all, but it isn't the same as having the white picket fence, the babies, and that one true love.

Clyde Atwell is a demon first class from hell. He was clerking in the library at hell when he came upon a folder with Delaney's name on it. Upon perusal, he found out that she was supposed to be contracted for her soul soon by another demon named Clyve Atwell. Using the coincidence to his benefit, he changed one letter of the demon to suit his own name, and poof! Clyde finds himself soon talking to Delaney. But Clyde has his own mission in mind when he materializes into the mortal world, and it doesn't include taking Delaney's soul.

Clyde wants to find out what happened to him. He was mixing chemicals in his lab when there was an explosion. The next thing he knew, he woke up in hell. Delaney wants to find out why Satan wants her soul and deflect his mission. Even though she fears Clyde won't be able to handle her ghost-handling quirk, she still finds the chemistry between them too hot to not be explored. Clyde and Delaney are soon steaming up the sheets, dodging demons, celebrity ghosts, and unraveling the mystery surrounding Clyde's death. Delaney knows that Clyde will eventually have to go to the light and she accepts that. But she is soon not only fighting for her life, but her heart as well.

Another laugh-out loud winner from Dakota Cassidy! Her characters are quirky and full of attitude. Hell will never be the same with mediums like Delaney urging souls to the light before Satan can get them. Absolutely sexy, charming, and wonderfully unique!

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It's appreciated.
