Watchlist based on an idea by Jeffery Deaver

Jeffery Deaver had an idea and it flourished.  One story that a collaboration of best-selling thriller writers write together.  The first story worked out so great, they did it again.

Watchlist is The Chopin Manuscript, with the sequel the Copper Bracelet directly after.  Harold Middleton used to be a crimes investigator who ownes a rarne handwritten score by Frederic Chopin.

Unbeknown to Harold, within the score is a secret that threatens tons of American lives.  Almost as soon as it's in his hands, events spiral out of control putting lives in danger, not only his but his pregnant daughter and others.  Then he is accused of murdering two policemen and on the run while trying to unravel the score's secrets.

Harold returns again in The Copper Bracelet .  He and his Volunteers, government officials who work at a cross purpose from them, are working to unravel the sabotage of a major construction project.  But the deeper they dig, the more political red tape they run into.  His investigation will take him across continents once again.

If you enjoy reading thrillers, you will enjoy Watchlist.  It's a treat reading the works of many wonderful thriller writers between one set of covers.  The pages write seamlessly and the action is superb.  Unique and diverse characters and solid plot will have you up late reading this edge-of-your-seat thriller!

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It's appreciated.
