BBAW DAY ONE - FIRST TREASURE

Monday—First Treasure
We invite you to share with us about a great new book blog you’ve discovered since BBAW last year! If you are new to BBAW or book blogging, share with us the very first book blog you discovered. Tell us why this blog rocks your socks off and why you keep going back for more.

I've discovered so many new blogs in the past year, I couldn't name just one!!! Instead, I'll tell you why I started blogging.  Lori @ Lori's Reading Corner is a friend of mine, and I kept seeing all the great books/authors she was discovering! I wanted to talk about books too, and although my mom and sisters adore reading as much as I do, they don't live with me! lol   My hubby tolerates my "hobby" and my kids don't get it.  So, I took the plunge and created my own place to talk about books that I enjoy.  It's my "Spot" and I'm "Minding" it.  I don't know what I did before I blogged, it's like if I can't check in every day, something in missing.  To see so many familiar names comment, and new ones, just brings joy to my day.  So for that simple thing, I sincerely thank Lori.  She has a fantastic blog, when you get time, hop on over - tell her Wendy sent you!

  2. The first book blog I ever discovered was Reading With Tequila. Before that I had no idea book blogs even existed. Jennifer always has great posts, reviews and giveaways. Her blog inspired me to create my own, and she has helped me by patiently explaining how to do this or that whenever I send her an e-mail asking questions. Basically--she rocks!

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It's appreciated.
