Synarchy: The Awakening by DCS

Summary from Amazon: A plan is exposed, centuries in the making and so sinister not even the legend himself could have predicted the depth of its impact on the world. In his lifetime Stefano Terenzio had a merciless ambition for absolute power. Two generations later the shock wave he ignited was still being felt. Now, as the world inches closer to 2012 sides are chosen, families divide and an epic battle begins that will determine whether mankind continues existing in a world of lies or shatters the chains that have held us prisoner since his-story was written.

Shocking yet hopeful, Synarchy slowly unravels the tightly laced reality we have created for ourselves. Blending the metaphysical with conspiracy, fact with fiction, debut author DCS has opened up a world that will force you to rethink everything you believe about your own. The knowledge within provokes the question: do you really want to know?

Do you like fantasy? Do you like mafia or related books? How about conspiracy theories? Or books about myths, legends, or gods? If you answered yes to any of those questions, you will want to read this book.

The book opens with a man dying and telling his three, triplets, grandchildren that he is sending them to the vault.  Meanwhile, a dome under the Anartica collapses, taking with it many people who are thousands of years old, but one escapes.  He is brought to the surface by two scientists who found him while in their submarine.  He has  a message to deliver before his soul ascends to it's next life.

With each chapter, you learn a bit more about each character and how they all inter-connect.  You learn about different dimensions, and how one act years ago is still rippling.  Domino effect anyone? The basis is love, but how each person percieves that and uses it for his or her own gain, or self-sacrifice will have to be revealed in Book 2: The Ascension.  Stop back tomorrow to read my review!

DCS was born in Alexandria, Virginia. She graduated high school in Huntersville, NC and attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte intent on earning a degree in Political Science and becoming a lawyer.
She instead eventually turned to writing. DCS is currently attending the American Institute of Holistic Theology to earn her PhD in Metaphysical Spirituality.
You can also hear her live every Saturday evening on BlogTalkRadio’s In the Mind of DCS. Show starts at 7pm Central Standard Time.

Synarchy Book 2: The Ascension is her second novel, and four more are scheduled for release.

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It's appreciated.
