The Peaceful Housewife by Jenny Deramo Review & Giveaway


The Peaceful Housewife is a recipe book for natural household cleaning products. All of the ingredients are things you have already or are easily obtained. The recipes are very easy to follow and will save you a lot of money. The biggest investment I saw by going through the recipes was a container of some sort to put your product into. However, being economical, I have been using hot soap and water and washing thoroughly my current product containers and using them. They work well; I just have to slap a label on it of what it contains.


From laundry soap to furniture polish to makeup brush cleaners and granite cleaners, The Peaceful Housewife covers it all! I've only made a couple of the recipes to date, but am looking forward to making more. These are fantastic! I hope there is a sequel with outdoorsy natural cleaners - would love one for concrete. If you're going green or trying to save money, give The Peaceful Housewife a try. It only takes moments and you will save big! No harsh chemicals and very easy to do. Highly recommended

    I try to use natural products as much as possible in my home, but I'd love to know about more options. Vinegar and baking soda are staples, but I know there are other things I should use. I'd like to have a good book on this, and here is my chance! :)
