How to Drink while Dieting Review & Giveaway

When you are dieting, most people stay away from alcoholic drinks.  Most of them are full of sugar and carbs and they aren't on your diet plan.  But with How To Drink While Dieting, you can go out with your friends and drink, and you can make tasty cocktails at home without ruining your diet.

In fact, several studies have shown that some alcoholic drinks, in moderation (like one or two a day) can help you lose weight. This book is so fun to use.  It has a definite niche in my kitchen for when I feel like making myself a drink or having some friends over.  The recipes are super easy to use and the ingredients are either easy to acquire or you have most of them in your kitchen already.

You can make drinks, just like you order, that taste fabulous with tons of less calories and carbs.  You will be able to still have a great time, or relax after work, without the guilt.  Not only does this great book have super recipes, but it also has a section about suitable glassware, garnishes, the terminology on mixing and much more.  There are classic cocktails, retro, blended, after dinner drinks and wine and much, much more.  I'm not a beer drinker, so I sort of glossed over that section, but if you drink it, there are options for you as well - a chart showing how many calories in each particular brand, portions and more!

You can be the life of the party, drinking and having a good time, with low calorie drinks or you can be the designated driver and just nurse a soda and lime, but either way, you're sure to stay on track with your diet.

A great book that is a great addition to anyone dieting or to your kitchen!

  2. Thanks for the give-away. This sounds like a book I would like. I read recipe books because they are fun and sometimes relate to an area.

  3. This sounds like a fun book. I don't drink much because of taking blood thinners, but I do like the flavor of many cocktails so finding ways to make them not so high in calories is great, whether I add alcohol or not.

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It's appreciated.
