Phase+ Diabetic Skin Care Review & Giveaway

Growing up, my grandmother had to take insulin shots so I'm pretty familiar with diabetes from that standpoint.  My dad was a diabetic as well but he monitored his by diet.  But in both cases, they had to be particular about other everyday items so it wouldn't irritate their skin.

There really isn't too much out on the market that is geared toward diabetics.  My grandma used to use the gentlest products she could find.  In fact, her bathroom had a lot of baby products.  My dad used some baby products, as well as some old fashioned home-made concoctions.  He's pretty old school.

Phase+  Diabetic Skin Care offers a cleanser and a balm that is geared towards diabetics.  You won't have to use baby product or homemade again unless you want to.

The exfoliating wash can be used by pouring a little bit into your hand, washcloth or loofah and mix with some water to suds up.  Then just wash like usual.  It's very gentle and rids your skin of dirt and dead skin cells, leaving your skin shiny and clean.  It has some petroleum in it to seal in moisture as well as grapeseed antioxidents to protect your skin from damage.

The foot therapy is a luxurious cream that helps soften callouses, promote blood flow and keep your feet soft, moisturized and healthy.  It's base is peppermint oil, which I usually simulate to foot cream - it's comforting.  But it also has ginkgo bilboa, which is an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.  You can use daily but I prefer to use it at night then cover with socks.  My feet seem to retain the softness and moisture longer.

Both products have a pleasant scent and do a great job.  I wish they had been around years ago, but am happy to see them on the market today.

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It's appreciated.
