Santus Real, Run, CD Review & Giveaway

I've reviewed Santus Real's music before, so I was delighted to get my hands on their newest album, Run.  An inspiring musical experience, with the strong and emotional vocals, Run is filled with the themes of healing and hope.

However, with Run, I was left wanting.  The chorus' just repeat themselves and really have no depth. I want meaning in my music - something I can connect with, grasp ahold of and apply to my own emotions and life.  While Run is enjoyable on a basic level, it has no real substance, which I prefer with my Christian music.  However, it was still nice to see the band still moving along strong, together and the music was well put together for easy listening.  I look forward to seeing what they do with their next album.

*I received a copy of this cd for review purposes only.  All thoughts are my own.

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It's appreciated.
