Eyes of Justice by Lis Wiehl

Cassidy, Nicole and Allison have been best friends for the past six years. They call themselves the Triple Threats, a name they got by sharing a triple chocolatey dessert. Cassidy is a reporter, Nicole an FBI agent and Allison a Federal Prosecutor. When Cassidy doesn't show up for one of their planned dinners, Allison and Nicole know something is off. Cassidy doesn't go anywhere without her phone and she isn't picking up.

When they go to her condo and investigate, they find Cassidy stuffed under the kitchen sink, dead. Although they aren't on the case, Nicole and Allison won't rest until justice is done. With the arrival of a new PI, Olivia, to help them with the case, things take a totally different turn. The killer seems to be after more than just Cassidy and may not stop until he has wiped out each threat of the Triple Threat, but will the women find him before it's too late?

Eyes of Justice is the first book I have read by Lis Wiehl. It reminded me alot of Patterson's Women's Murder Club, which I adore. The writing is crisp and clever and kept me up late turning the pages. I really liked how they had a strong faith and the bonds of friendship ran deep. Great characters, a riveting and thrilling murderer to outfox and smart writing, you won't want to miss Eyes of Justice!

* I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Wendy

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It's appreciated.
