Epica Vegetable Slicer Review

We eat a lot of vegetables in my house and I'm the head chef.  I really get tired of constantly slicing, chopping, cutting and dicing them for our meals.  Not to mention that there are times when I'd like to have a more festive, professional touch if I'm serving guests or a special occasion.

The Epica Vegetable Slicer is a real asset to the kitchen.  It comes with three blades and you do the work, but with turning a handle it's not as hard on the hands as wielding a knife.  Not to mention that the vegetables come out uniform.

We love fried potatoes and I like to buy those with thin skins so we can leave them on.  A bit of scrubbing and they get those vital nutrients.  With two teenagers, my husband and myself, we need a lot of potatoes so I can take all of the help I can get.  First, the slicer has four suction cups and they hold really tight.  I was grateful for that because you don't want any slipping when you're working with a blade. You simply put the potato end on the silver post and press the handle with the spokes against it.  It holds it into place.  You just turn the handle and the potato gets sliced.

There are three blades that come with the slicer that are stored on one side of it.  You can easily replace the blade for whichever style you are wanting.  There is a flat blade for slicing, a blade for shredding and another blade that turns your veggies into spirals.  Perfect for curly fries or garnishing!

I don't have a dishwasher so I wasn't sure how hard it was going to be to clean up the slicer, but it is really simple to clean and no bothersome crevices to worry about.  As I said, a perfect addition to any kitchen and I'm thrilled with the results!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It's appreciated.
