Harlequin Ambassador and a Giveaway

I'm sure most of us grew up knowing about those slim romances, category romances we call them today.  I know I did.  Whenever I went to grandma's, she always had a stack by her recliner, by her bed, and her bathtub.  I always questioned that part -- why would she chance them getting wet? Anyways, I used to beg her to borrow a few everytime I went.  At first, she balked.  Was I too young to be reading these? What would my mom say? I was at an impressionable age, only twelve.  But once I read one, I wanted more!

Grandma read mostly Harlequin's Super Romances.  Granted, my reading tastes have changed dramatically over the years, and it's been some time since I've picked up Super Romance.  But, I still read Harlequin.  I like the Nocturnes, my mom likes the Intrigues, and my sister likes the Love Inspired.  Harlequin has been around for many many years, and I am sure many many more.  They have an excellent reputation and offer good quality products.  But now I sound like I'm reviewing the company, and I'm not.

I'll get to the point.  I'm a Harlequin Ambassador and you can be too!!

If you qualify as a Harlequin Ambassador, you’ll be sent all the tools you need to spark great conversation about Harlequin books including:

I recently recieved some books from Harlequin, and they've asked me to share a few copies with my friends, my readers.  Here is what you will win.

What's a girl to do when she's secretly in love with a friend and he's married to someone else? She gets over it. That's what Amy Parker has done. Rather than lose her best bud Quinn Whitfield with an ill-timed, crazy confession of affection, she's taken the smart route. She's eased away from him. Just enough to get past the unrequited bits. And you know, it's working.

Until the day Quinn announces he's now single. That's right. He's single. And he wants to hang out. With her. Get reconnected the way they used to be.

Oh, this is so not good for Amy's equilibrium. Daily doses of Quinn remind her of everything she loves about him. But if he's free...and she's free...well, maybe the time has come for one of those crazy confessions.

I have 3 copies to give away!  USA only.  Winners announced October 3rd.  You must be a Minding Spot follower to enter.  Been awhile since you tried Harlequin? Enter today and give it another whirl.  You may be surprised!!

CONTEST IS CLOSED.

The old grey donkey, Eeyore stood by himself in a thistly corner of the Forest, his front feet well apart, his head on one side, and thought about things. Sometimes he thought sadly to himself, "Why?" and sometimes he thought, "Wherefore?" and sometimes he thought, "Inasmuch as which?" and sometimes he didn't quite know what he was thinking about.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It's appreciated.
